Publishing can seem like an intimidating monolith to novice writers, but there are many paths to becoming a writer. Author Kevin Curran will sit down with local authors Paula Guildea and Patrick Bentley to discuss their writing journeys. Paula has a master’s degree in creative writing and a higher diploma in higher education, and her academic background has informed her creative work. Patrick is one of Ireland’s leading self-published authors and made his name selling books door-to?door in Fingal and beyond. They will offer insight into the writing life, as well as tips for those looking to establish themselves beyond mainstream publishing.
