Join the Ukrainian Crisis Centre Ireland (UCCI) for a Borscht Cooking Workshop and learn to make Ukraine’s iconic national dish, recently recognised as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Borscht, a rich and hearty beetroot soup, has been cherished in Ukraine for centuries as a symbol of community and tradition.
This hands-on workshop will introduce participants to the authentic techniques and flavours of Ukrainian borscht-making, celebrating the cultural significance and warm hospitality that surround this beloved dish. Open to all levels of cooking experience, this event encourages people of all backgrounds to come together, cook, and connect.
