Kindness is a light in the Darkness

Join us for a heartwarming event at TU Dublin, Grangegorman Campus! We believe that kindness can brighten even the darkest days, so come and be a part of spreading positivity and love. This in-person event will feature a kite making workshop, refreshments and snacks.

The Lord Mayor of Dublin will be in attendance to launch this event.

Let’s come together and make a difference in our community.

Kindness is a Light in the Darkness is a Flag Ship event of the Dublin City Inclusion and Integration week 2023, taking place from the 6th to the 12th November.

Event Schedule :(Please arrive 15min before the workshop to register)

• 4pm -Kite Workshop III (ticketed event)
• 4.30pm – 6pm Let’s fly our Kite together! (no registration required)

Drama games and theatre exercises are used to inspire creativity and encourage participants to develop and share their performing talents.

Local Vocals our Connections Arts Centre house musicians host a fun interactive inclusive music session. Feel free to join in or just sit back and enjoy the show.

Connections Arts Centre staff member Lis leads a workshop, helping you to decorate a pot and plant your own plant to take home.

Naomh Fionnbarra Social Camogie is a recreation initiative encouraging participation in the game of camogie at any level. If you want to get a little bit more active, create friendship, learn a new skill and have some laughs then we would love to see you. No previous experience needed.

Announcement of Dublin’s Autism Friendly City Plan by Lord Mayor of Dublin Daithí de Róiste and Dublin City Council.

This event is part of Dublin’s Inclusion and Integration Week taking place from Monday 6th to Sunday 12th of November celebrating and promoting Dublin a City for All.

This interactive session will explore equality, diversity & inclusion from a range of perspectives including the business, moral & legislative context.
Participants will have the opportunity to examine the various terminology relating to the legislation(e.g. types of discrimination) & its application.
Both sessions will be facilitated by the Irish Centre for Diversity.
